Town Hall and Market Square

back to overview

With its striking stepped gable, the imposing Town Hall was built around 1430. The original late-Gothic building was destroyed in the Second World War, but reconstructed in the 1950s following the historical model. At the end of the 1990s it was thoroughly renovated. Even today most of Neumarkt Town Council is housed in the Town Hall. The tourist information centre is based in the passage beneath.
