You won’t believe what used to be here on the site of this beautiful park – Neumarkt’s sewage plant. The conversion took place in the year 1998 as part of preparations for the state garden show – with a truly spectactular concept. The former sewage works were turned into a flourishing garden – the old septic tanks were converted into an open-air arena, the sewage basins now contain thriving water gardens.
