Town Museum

back to overview

Let the Town Museum invite you to take a stroll through the chequered history of Neumarkt. The most important periods in the town’s history are graphically conveyed – from the glorious days of the 15th and 16th centuries, when the town was the royal seat of the count palatines, to its development as an industrial town, and on to its destruction in the Second World War and the subsequent reconstruction. Numerous exhibits provide insights into the everyday existence of the people of Neumarkt in bygone years.
